This fascinating group contains a print in a 27 1/2" x 23" frame depicting the sinking of the battleship Marat, the first battleship sunk by a dive bomber in WWII. The frame also includes a clipped signature of the pilot of that dive bomber named Hans-Ulrich Rudel along with a piece of the JU-87D aircraft skin he piloted on that mission. The group further include a typed letter signed by Rudel and a WWII era photographic post card of Rudel in uniform wearing his Knight's Cross. CONDITION: all itemsshow very light wear.
