A very fine example of an early WWII German Luftwaffe officer's sword measuring 38 3/4" overall with a plain 30 1/2" blade marked near the hilt " PAUL WEYERSBERG & CO, SOLINGEN (logo)". Silver plated crossguard and pommel, both with mobile Party symbols. Wire wrapped blue leather grip. Blue leather scabbard with silver plated mounts and blue leather hanger. No belt loop attachment. CONDITION: a beautiful example with very light wear. There is a small seam opening on the scabbard near the throat. (02-25006/BF). $800-1200.
