Bbl. latch number is obscured by oxidation but does start with "63". 2nd Model S&W 38 Top Break Revolver. Nickel finish with case colored hammer & trigger. Checkered hard rubber grips with S&W monograms that appear unnumbered. CONDITION: grips show scattered flattened checkering & handling marks. Hammer & trigger have mostly faded to a dull gray patina with traces of case colors & some oxidation. Balance of metal is a dull gray color with scattered oxidation most heavily on backstrap, some pitting & traces of nickel finish. Timing appears off & may need attention to function properly.
