^Lot 556a Pietta 1860 Army .44 Cal #38160

Quality Italian replica of the Colt Model 1860 Army six-shot percussion revolver manufactured in Italy by Pietta in 1995. It features an 8" round blued barrel with brass blade front sight, rear sight notched on hammer, and six-round blued non-fluted and rebated cylinder with naval engagement engraving. Shoulder stock provisions are cut into the recoil shield, the bottom of the grip, and there are screws on the sides of the frame for mounting. Color-case hardened frame, hammer, and loading lever, brass triggerguard, and smooth hardwood grip. Bore is very good with strong rifling. Wood grips are excellent with light handling marks. The blued finish retained is about 90%, with minor scratches and holster wear, mostly on the barrel & loading lever. The brass is good, there is some patches of light pitting to the case hardening on the left frame. The action is crisp and tight. Matching serial numbers.
