22" x 4.25" overall, body has 5" x 6.75" beaded panels on either side, clear red, greasy yellow, navy blue, and clear green sinew sewn beads on a sky-blue ground, triangular additional beaded design above panels and beaded throat; orange and blue dyed quilled ribs, 9" rawhide fringe. Collection tag inside throat states "Arapaho". CONDITION: good overall, some loss of quilling, ribs bent & slightly warped, leather supple. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of Lenard Cave. (02-27336/JS). NON-GUN. $1,000-1,500.
