SPORTING CARBINE. Cal. 30-30. S# 6545. Barrel 20". Blade front sight with white paint added and elevator rear sight. 2/3 length mag. tube. Walnut stock set with added checkering and hard rubber buttplate. CONDITION: over 70% original blue on barrel and mag. tube with scratches and spots of finish loss. Action fitted to gray/brown patina. Lightly sanded and refinished wood has recut checkering at wrist. Barrel band has pin for missing screw. Worn rifling with pitting in grooves. (26-2617/MD).
