CARBINE. Cal. 52. S# 69718. Approx. 27,000 of these were mfg from 1858-63. Fit with a 22" bbl with iron block mounted silver blade front sight & Lawrence patent rear sight that is broken. Standard bbl & rec markings. Iron furniture. Walnut stock set. CONDITION: Overall good. The metal surfaces have been lightly cleaned with a darkish mottled patina in the lower portions of the surfaces. Good markings. Stock has been sanded and refinished with no visible cartouches.
