RIFLE. Cal. 7.62x51mm. S# 201092. Bbl. 18 7/8". FA-FAL semi-automatic rifle mfg. by Federal Arms Corporation (F.A.C.) on a newly mfg. Dan Coonan Industries (D.C.I.) receiver with surplus parts and components. Right side of receiver exhibits standard markings denoting the model and cal. designations, the S#, as well as F.A.C.'s and D.C.I.'s mfg. information. Lower exhibits "A", "R", and "S" selector markings. Receiver exhibits a phosphate finish, with surplus parts and components exhibiting a black enamel type finish. 2-piece ventilated black synthetic handguard, with black synthetic pistol grip, carry handle, and fixed buttstock. Standard post front sight with sliding aperture rear sight graduated 2-6. Bbl. is fitted with a TAPCO radial muzzle brake. Mag. is absent. CONDITION: receiver is very good to excellent, exhibiting some light edge wear and superficial handling marks. Surplus parts show scattered handling marks and spots of flaking. Bbl. exhibits patches and areas of flaking and wear that have faded to a gray patina. Very bright bore, exhibiting scattered spots of light to mild pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Synthetic furniture shows some light superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sound. (26-2467/MLW). MODERN. $800-1,200.
