^Lot 1555 WWII GERMAN LUFTSCHUTZ GLADIATOR STYLE HELMET FROM

THE MAUSER FACTORY. A classic WWII German gladiator style helmet with a large " LUFTSCHUTZ " decal on the front. What sets this helmet in a different league are the 2 " MAUSER " decals on each side of the helmet. We have seen many factory marked Luftschutz helmets, but this is the first we have seen from the Mauser Company. The inside rear of the helmet has the standard Luftschutzt information decal, but just to the right is another decal that reads " Eigentum MAUSER Werkluftschutz gemass Luftschutzgesetz Mauserwerk Oberndorf ". CONDITION: Front decal is 97%, 1 Mauser decal is 100% and the other is 65%. The interior Mauser decal is 90%+. The helmet finish is 99%.
