Cal. 308 Win. S# 91060. Bbl. 22". Model 100 semi-automatic rifle mfg. by Winchester in 1964. Left side of the bbl. exhibits standard factory markings denoting the model and cal. designations. Receiver and bbl. exhibit a blue finish overall, with the alloy trigger guard exhibiting a black anodized finish. Bolt is polished and jeweled in-the-white. 1-piece wood pistol grip stock features oak leaf & acorn motifs within woven pattern panels on the forearm and pistol grip, as well as a Pachmayr Presentation Model red rubber recoil pad. Rear of stock comb is inlaid with a compass. Toeline of stock and underside of forearm feature sling swivels. Ramped and aluminum beaded blade front sight with flip-up U-notch rear sight. Receiver is factory drilled and tapped, currently featuring an aluminum scope rail fitted with a Weaver Classic Variable V700 scope. Mag. is absent. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light edge wear, a few superficial handling marks, as well some oxidation around the muzzle area. Bbl. exhibits a series of unusual (apparent) machining marks between the front sight assembly and tip of the forearm. Muzzle crown exhibits a consistent scattering of darkened light surface oxidation. Bright bore, exhibiting some scattered spots of light surface oxidation, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Stock shows scattered superficial marks from handling and storage, with a crack stemming from the rear of the receiver and a smaller crack just to the left. Scope retains a clear optic. (26-3075/MLW). CURIO. $400-600.
