SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE. Cal. 308 Win. S# 2625. Bbl. 22". Model 100 semi-automatic rifle mfg. by Winchester during the Model 100s first year of production (1961). Bbl. exhibits standard factory markings. Left side of the receiver is marked with the S# "2625". Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the aluminum trigger guard, which exhibits a black anodized finish. Bolt is polished in-the-white. 1-piece checkered wood pistol grip buttstock with blued steel grip cap and checkered black synthetic buttplate. Toeline of stock and underside of forearm feature sling swivels. Ramped aftermarket fiber optic front sight with standard flip-up U-notch rear sight and receiver mounted Williams adj. aperture rear sight. Receiver is factory drilled and tapped with x4 plug screws. MAGS: x1 4-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, showing light edge wear, scattered spots of light surface oxidation, as well as scattered superficial handling marks overall. Top of receiver shows some wear around plug screws from previously installed scope mounts. Aluminum trigger guard shows light edge wear and scattered superficial handling marks. Bright bore, exhibiting scattered spots of light pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Stock shows scattered superficial marks and small impressions, as well as scattered flaking and varnish wear, with a repair present at the toe of the butt.
