Cal. 30 Carb. S# 3959167. Bbl. 18" IBM undated. Standard M1 Carbine sights with stamped adjustable rear. Front band has a replacement non-military screw assembly. Round bolt with illegible marking on left lug. Operating slide marked "AOB". Stamped triggerguard marked "BE-B" with "EPB" push button safety & other IBM subcontractor marked parts. Parkerized finish. Walnut stock set with two rivet handguard & left side sling provisions. Handguard marked & left sling cut both appear to be marked "LW-B". MAGS: 1-15 rd. marked "IA". CONDITION: stock set has a darkened appearance with scattered staining, finish loss, some chipping, handling marks & dings. Metal is mostly a gray patina with scattered oxidation, handling marks & moderate pitting more heavy on bolt. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Bore shows some dried grease & residue but evident rifling. (26-2210/MJC). CURIO. $800-1,500.
