^Lot 220 Phenomenal Mexican Silver Bridle and Bit

An important and extremely early silver bridle, circa 1820-1840, made of finely done leatherwork and mounted with exquisitely crafted silver. Featuring early Baroque style silver work, with a quick bit release, incredible braided silver reins, and topped off with a concha adorned by an eagle without a snake, which could date it prior to 1822.
