1). Cal. 36. S# 2311. Bbl 4 1/2" round with bead front sight and New York bbl. address. Fluted & rebated 5 shot cylinder. Original finish was blue & case colored with silver finished brass grip straps. Bbl, frame, grip straps, wedge & cyl. have matching numbers. One piece walnut grip. MFG. 1861. CONDITION: metal has a faded gray appearance showing very light pitting. Brass grip straps retain30% silver having a pleasing dark tarnish. Original grip finish shows wear & marks. Left panel has a large chip t the butt. Cylinder does not rotate properly when the action is cycles. Pitted bore. (01-29375/DS) ANTIQUE.2). Cal. 36. S# 11111. Bbl 5 1/2" round with bead front sight. Bal. has a New York address. Fluted and rebated 5 shot cylinder. Blue and case colored finish with silver finished brass grip straps. Bbl., frame, grip straps, wedge & cyl. have matching numbers. One piece walnut grip.8661-1873. The S# of this revolver is higher than the numbers listed in some sources. CONDITION: bbl & cyl have a small amount of fading case colors. Frame retains over 40% lightly visible case colors. Original grip finish shows handling marks & wear spots. Cylinder does not rotate properly when the action is cycles.
