Reminiscent of a few California Slim Jim examples made by best saddlers, fine patent leather, white thread sewn which contrasts to dark dyed surface, silver tip, flap with sewn loop & tab closure; 1.5" sewn belt loop. This is a perfect holster for that fine 1850s Colt Navy with California or western history. CONDITION: very good to fine overall, about 1" of stitched edge missing at tip. PROVENANCE: estate collection of Compton LaBauve, Jr. (02-26476-18/JS). NON-GUN. $1,000-2,000.
