Cal. 31. S# 92844. Bbl 6" octagon with bead front and New York bbl. address. Round 5 shot cylinder has Stagecoach Holdup Scene roll engraving. Blue & case colored finish with silver finish brass grip straps. Barrel, frame, cyl., grip straps, wedge & loading lever have matching numbers. One piece walnut grip. Mfg. 1854. CONDITION: bbl has over 50% mottled blue. Cylinder has a gray faded appearance with a very good scene. Frame has traces of colors. Grip straps retain over 75% silver having an untouched dark tarnish. Original grip finish shows scattered marks. Crisp properly functioning action. Bright bore with strong rifling shows some very light pitting. (01-29373/DS). ANTIQUE. $2,000-2,750.
