^Lot 4307 2ND ISSUE COLT OFFICERS MODEL TARGET DOUBLE

ACTION REVOLVER. Cal. 38 Spl. S# 364420. Mfg. 1914. This nice second issue revolver has 6" bbl with patridge front sight, 2-line address with final patent date of July 4, 1905, & "OFFICERS MODEL 38" marking on the left side. The flat top target frame has a factory dovetailed U notch rear sight. Fine checkered hammer, backstrap & trigger. Original checkered diamond Colt medallion grips that are numbered to the gun with pencil under the grips. CONDITION: Overall very good. The metal retains 95% of the original factory blue with some mild muzzle holster wear and a few scattered faint handling marks. Good fire blue remains on some of the small pins and screws.
