Standard configuration, retaining most of its bright armory blue & case color, armory shortened 5.5" barrel, full blade front sight, inspection “P” over earlier “RAC”; 6-shot fluted cylinder numbered 11/4014, inspection “P”; hammer with old inspection “HN”; case colored frame inspected “DFC”, 3-line patents and “U.S.”; trigger guard S# 9872 inspection “A”; backstrap S#121037, inspection polished out. Grips have bright ”1901 / OCH” (Lt. Odus C. Horney) & “RAC” (Rinaldo A. Carr) cartouches, small “RAC” on butt. Revolver S# is listed in Kopek as turned in by the US Post Office/Railway Mail Service and later by 20th Kansas Vol. Inf. during Philippine insurrection. CONDITION: excellent 95%+ bright armory blue and case colors, address, patent markings & some S#s polished prior to finish and weak, cylinder drag line.
