Cal. .30 Army. S# 402286. Mfg. 1917. Bbl. 22" with riser mounted pinned blade front sight and No. 50B carbine rear sight. Finger groove forearm with handguard. Straight grain walnut stock with smooth carbine buttplate. CONDITION: overall very nice professionally restored carbine with care taken maintain the integrity of the markings with only minor softness in the "PW" proof and tang markings. The work on the stock was well executed and shows only a few handling marks and a little bit of a poor fit to the frame. . A well executed restoration. (26-1772/ZAL). CURIO. $1,000-2,000.
