ORIGINAL MAHOGANY CASE. Cal. 44 Mag. S# 6163. Bbl. 7 1/2" with serrated blade on ramped base; proper "Micro" marked frame mounted adjustable rear sight. Mfg. 1960 (1959-1973) as Model S47 having eagle logo near barrel address (without "INC."). Standard features of wide spur hammer, wide serrated trigger, unfluted counterbored cylinder and Dragoon style grip frame having varnished walnut grips with black eagle medallions. Does not have factory safety update parts; original lockwork. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: very good to excellent original factory supplied mahogany presentation case having label under lid (owner marked "6163"). Mahogany cutout for revolver in base plus maroon velvet accents. Bottom of box marked 'GENUINE MAHOGANY". Rectangular felt pads stuck on bottom corners of case. References state only about 4,000 shipped this way due to the supplier suffering a fire which ended the case offerings. Very good extra velvet interior and label (also marked "6163". CONDITION: recoil shield and cylinder have some very faint prior pitting along with slight cleaned peppery oxidation on ejector housing; all other aspects near excellent including bore and grips (extremely faint handling marks) with superior factory appearing refinish; faint plum hued cylinder frame.
