^Lot 3375 RUGER OLD MODEL BRASS FRAMED 45 BLACKHAWK

REVOLVER. Cal. 45 Colt. S# 45-04454. Bbl. 7 1/2" with serrated blade integral to ramped base as front sight plus frame mounted factory adjustable rear sight. Mfg. 1971 (1971-1973) as BKH-45; total of about 23,000 Old Model 45's made. Newer oiled walnut grips on factory brass grip frame (MR-3DB marked) having silver eagle medallions and stainless grip screw. Has captive, collared base pin, drilled through base pin latch alloy ejector housing, "INC." on barrel and eagle logo on cylinder frame. Does not have factory safety update parts; original lockwork. Brass frame installed after production as originals were not created until 1972 and into 1973. Fitted with Super Blackhawk spur hammer and corresponding wide serrated Super Blackhawk trigger. CONDITION: very good plus with occasional light handling marks and slight cylinder turn line. Well fitting brass frame, but not match polished to cylinder frame like originals; light handling marks and dullness, but no porosity. Slight slot damage to some screws. Slightly off on timing but overcome with full hammer pulls. Very good to excellent grips and near excellent bore. (26-1096/NW). CURIO. $800-1,200.
