RIFLE. Cal. 17 HMR. S# 2946. The 24" tapered octagon barrel has Cooper markings on top left flat and caliber stamped on left rear. Case hardened action is marked "Cooper Arms Model 57M" on left sidewall and is fitted with matching case hardened Talley scope rings. Rifle comes with 1 magazine having case hardened base plate. Classic style capped pistol grip stock is made of a very fine piece of marbled European walnut and measures 13-3/4" over checkered steel buttplate. Stock features swept right hand shadow line cheekpiece, ebony forend tip, sling eyes and ebony grip cap. Nicely cut checkering has arrowhead intrusions at grip and forend. Forend checkering is in three panels separated by uncheckered ribbons. CONDITION: very fine; appears very close to "new" with only a very few handling marks in all factory finishes. Bore is bright and shiny. Mechanically crisp. (26-1775/MGM). MODERN. $6,500-8,500.
