SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 GA, 2 3/4". NSN. Bbl. 30". Model 37 single shot shotgun mfg. by Winchester between 1936-1963. The left side of the bbl. is marked with Winchester's mfg. information, followed by the model and cal. designations, Winchester trademark logo, and "CHOKE", with "2 3/4" marked towards the breech. Underside of the receiver is marked with the Winchester trademark logo in red characters. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood pistol grip buttstock, with Winchester checkered black synthetic buttplate, and plain wood forend. Aluminum bead front sight. Right side buttstock stamped "S / 11163" CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some spots/areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray patina, some scattered superficial handling marks, as well as some scattered spots of light surface oxidation. Top of the bbl. lever retains a mostly brown patina. Mirror bore. Wood furniture shows some scattered marks and impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable.
