RIFLE. Cal. 22 LR. S# 36346. Bbl. 24" tapered sporter with integral ramped base having dovetailed brass bead and hood; additionally drilled and tapped for target blocks at 6.11" spacing rather than normal 7.2" (mismatched plug screws installed). Rear sight is Lyman 48 receiver sight having medium target disc. Mfg. 1936 (1934-1958) having original features of: special pattern checkered walnut stock set with raised cheek piece, Super Grade swivel bases, ebony forend tip, Winchester logo hard rubber grip cap and checkered steel buttplate with widows peak. MAGS: 1 Winchester marked single shot loading platform. CONDITION: very good general appearance. Light oxidation throughout trigger guard assembly. Occasional light marks on barrel along with witness mark from prior front target scope block installation. Finish loss on magazine release button. Stock has a few light handling marks on its refinished surfaces and on its recut checkering. Near excellent bore. (26-2393/NW). CURIO. $2,000-3,000.
