Lot 2054 EARLY PRODUCTION SPRINGFIELD M1 GARAND SEMI-AUTO

MILITARY RIFLE AS RESTORED BY CMP. Cal. 30-06. S# 78359. Bbl. 24". Replacement CBI barrel is dated "2/09". Throat and muzzle gauge less than 1.0. T105E1 rear sight. Blade front sight with protective ears. All major parts markings are "SA". Milled trigger guard. High hump gas cylinder lock. Replacement walnut stock set. Stock is marked on left side with the boxes CMP "eagle". Stamped in barrel channel "DTC". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: U.S. M5A1 Bayonet. 6 5/8" blade. 11 3/8" overall. Crossguard is marked "U.S. M5A1 / IMPERIAL". Also includes U.S. M8A1 plastic scabbard. Scabbard and bayonet are in very good condition with only light oxidation issues on bayonet retaining strap. Bayonet has been lightly sharpened. CONDITION: stock set has only very light scattered handling marks. Metal retains nearly all of its arsenal rework parkerization with only light hi-point wear.
