Lot 2017 US WWII WINCHESTER M1 SEMI-AUTO MILITARY CARBINE.

Cal. 30 Carb. S# 1022218. 18" bbl marked behind front sight "flaming bomb / W.R.A. / 1-43". Narrow bbl band is unmarked. Sling swivel is not present. L-type rear sight. No evidence of punch mark at sight dovetail. Blade front sight with protective ears. Straight cut slide marked "PI". Flat cut bolt marked "W". Receiver made with detachable main spring housing. Milled trigger guard marked only with "A" on left rear. Push button safety. Dog leg hammer and mag catch are marked "W". Oval cut high wood stock set. Replacement buttstock is marked on the right side with box "SG" and crossed cannons. Markings in sling slot appear to be "31E". 2 rivet handguard marked "RSG". MAGS: 1 15-rd GI. CONDITION: stock set has well worn original finish with numerous handle marks. Markings are legible. Metal retains 70% of its original finish, except finish has been removed in the operating slide raceway and top of right receiver rail. Very good shiny bore.
