Cal. 7.62x51 or 308. S# 116100. Bbl length is 25" including flash suppressor. T105E1 rear sight with National Match adjustable aperture. Blade front sight with protective ears is marked "NM062". Gas cylinder shutoff does not operate, likely from unitizing of gas cylinder. Rifle not disassembled due to extremely tight bedding. No GI parts are evident. Rifle is equipped with an A.R.M.S. swan scope mount which utilizes the clip guide dovetail as a mounting point. Mount has two high blued steel 1" scope rings. Very heavy profile walnut stock. Stock is not cut for selector switch. Standard folding buttplate. Front swivel has been replaced by a VERSA-ROD combination 3 1/2" picatinny rail with integral sling swivel. Brown leather military style sling with brass fittings. MAGS: 2 10-rd steel mags; 1 marked with Springfield Armory logo, 1 marked "C.M.I.". 1 20-rd GI mag marked "BRW" and "S-1". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Springfield Armory information guide, copyright 1993. An "M1A1 M-14 Do Everything Manual by Pugliese". An M1A Safety Manual. CONDITION: rifle appears to have little, if any use. Stock set has very light wear and a few tiny handling marks. Metal retains nearly all of its factory finish with several small dings and scratches. Very good shiny bore. (26-2191/RW). MODERN. $1,000-1,500.
