Lot 1220 DESIRABLE SENTINEL ARMS STRIKER-12 SEMI-AUTOMATIC

REVOLVING SHOTGUN WITH MATCHING FACTORY BOX. Cal. 12 GA. S# 007133. Bbl. 18". A licensed copy of the South African Armsel Striker, the Sentinel Arms Striker-12 is of a notably higher quality than its contemporary made by Cobray. The front frame / drum plate is marked "SENTINEL ARMS/ CORP./ RIDGWAY, PA" above the S#, with "STRIKER-12" marked on the left, and patent information marked across the top. Metal components exhibit a phosphate finish overall, save for on the bbl., which is blued. Black synthetic vertical foregrip and grip frame, with top folding buttstock featuring a black synthetic buttplate. Large blade front sight with grooved rear sight on receiver top strap. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching factory box containing factory paperwork. CONDITION: excellent, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their original factory phosphate finish overall. Unusually, on the top and right side of the shroud / ejector rod housing, there are areas of what appears to be light to moderate pitting beneath the finish, although, this example shows no signs of having been refinished. Brilliant mirror bore, retaining a layer of apparent factory grease throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Black synthetic furniture is very good to excellent. Box shows some light to mild exterior wear from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sound. PROVENANCE: Military Museum Collection of Shooters Outpost, Hooksett NH. NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT DESTRUCTIVE DEVICE REQUIRING BATF TRANSFER BEFORE TAKING POSSESSION. FULLY TRANSFERABLE. (03-2281/MLW). MODERN. CLASS III. $2,000-3,000.
