Cal. 9mm (9x19mm Parabellum). S# 56033. Bbl. 7 7/8". M50 submachine mfg. in Denmark by DISA (Dansk Industri Syndikat A/S) under the Madsen trademark. The M50 featured a stamped steel construction and a unique "clamshell" design, which due to its relative ease of production and low production cost, saw it achieve notable commercial success with foreign nations throughout its production, particularly in South America. This example is marked with an electro-penciled "ME0001" above the S#, followed by "MADSEN M50 9MM/ MADE IN GERMANY" on the right side of the receiver. Metal components exhibit a professionally reapplied black enamel type finish overall. Leather stock cover is absent. Standard dovetailed blade front sight and fixed aperture rear sight. MAGS: x1 black enamel finished steel 32-rd. CONDITION: fine, with metal components retaining virtually all of their professionally reapplied black enamel finish, exhibiting a few spots of light wear, as well as scattered spots and patches of pitting beneath the finish on the buttstock. Bright bore, exhibiting consistent light pitting, as well as some small scattered spots of moderate pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics.
