SEAR PACK WITH T DYER CONVERSION MP5 HOST GUN. Cal. 9mm. S# H1519 (Sear) / 5856 (host receiver). Bbl. 9". Originally mfg. as an HK94 semi-automatic rifle, this example was professionally converted by T Dyer into an MP5 configuration and installed with a Fleming registered 4-position sear pack. Top of the receiver is marked "HK MP5", followed by the S# "5856", a German Eagle/N commercial nitro proof, "IF" (85) date code, as well as an Ulm proof house antler. Left side of the mag. well is marked "Kal.9mmx19", with "Made in W-Germany/ HK Chantilly Va" marked on the right. Left side of the receiver is marked with a matching # to the sear "H1519", with "T DYER/ HEYWORTH ILL" marked on the right side of the receiver beneath the buttstock. Metal components exhibit a black enamel type finish overall, save for on the 3-lug flash hider and bolt carrier, which exhibit a phosphate finish. Bolt is polished in-the-white and marked with an "IE" (84) date code. MP5A2 pattern textured black synthetic forearm and buttstock. 4-position pictogram trigger pack housing capable of safe, semi, burst, and fully automatic fire, with faux forward pin. Sear pack S# "H1519" is electro-penciled on the top of the pack housing. Standard MP5 pattern hooded post front sight and 4-position drum rear sight. MAGS: x1 HK black enamel 30-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their black enamel type finish, exhibiting some spots and patches of wear on edges, as well as some superficial handling marks overall. Bore is bright, exhibiting consistent light pitting, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Black synthetic furniture shows a few superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remains very good overall. An extremely desirable T Dyer converted MP5, complete with a Fleming 4-position pictogram sear pack. PROVENANCE: Military Museum Collection of Shooters Outpost, Hooksett NH.
