^Lot 515 Astra Model 400 Semi-Automatic Pistol

Astra Model 400 Semi-Automatic Pistol, #66039, 9mm Largo cal., 5.9" barrel, blued finish, black plastic checkered grips embossed with "ASTRA" logo on each side, blade front sight, fixed rear sight with "U"-notch, and lanyard ring. Marked on top of barrel jacket with a very faint "ASTRA" logo, and on the left side slide "PISTOLA DE 9 M/M (38)/MODELO 1921 (400)". Right side of slide is lightly marked "UNCETA Y COMPANIA/GUERNICA ESPANA"; barrel marked "9 m/m &38" at the ejection port. Matching numbers. No import marks. Includes one (1) magazine. Condition overall is very good, the refinished metal retains approx 70% finish, with scratches and patina to the frame and barrel. The bright trigger, safety, and magazine release show some darkening, with patina to the barrel at the muzzle. Grips are good with a chipped area to the left side leading edge and handling marks, with spots of flattening to the checkering on both sides. Action operates smoothly. Bore has darkening in the grooves, with very good defined rifling. Est.: $300-$500. (C&R/PPT)
