Winchester Model 1895 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine, #413226, .30-06 cal., 22" barrel, smooth walnut straight grip stock and finger groove forend, smooth steel carbine buttplate with empty trap, pinned brass tipped blade front sight, rear sight removed and the holes filled with plug screws. An adjustable Lyman sight added at the left rear of the receiver. Saddle ring is present. Factory markings are clear, with Winchester "WP" proofs on the barrel and receiver. Mfg'd 1922. Carbine is in very good overall condition, retaining approx. 40%-50% thinning finish, showing general wear and marks from use. Stock with scattered dents, scratches, and " chip on the right side of the wrist. The sling swivel is missing on the underside of the buttstock. Action functions well. Bore is good with some visible light erosion and defined rifling. Est.: $800-$1,200. (C&R)
