Modified Model 1809 Potsdam Flintlock Musket, #NVSN, approx. .70 cal. 42.6" smooth bore barrel, bright finish with brass pan, hardwood stock, blade front sight, no rear sight, with iron rammer under the barrel. Rammer threads are broken. Lockplate is marked with faint "(Crown)J"; left side of the barrel "(Crown)AM/B". Condition overall is fair, showing moderate pitting that has been cleaned, now darkening across the barrel. Wood with damaged areas to the buttstock and notable scratches to the forend. An area of wood has been removed from left side of the comb. Action functions well; hammer holds on half and full-cock. Est.: $200-$350. (Antique)
