^Lot 199 Scarce Jimmy Lile Tomahawk

Scarce Jimmy Lile Tomahawk, 12.75" long, head measures 6" across, tang is marked on the left side with two-line "Hand Made by / James B. Lile" signature, with brass bolster and pommel cap, and finger grooved hardwood handle. Includes tan leather axe sheath with two belt loops, front is stamped "JIMMY'S HAWK". Tomahawk is in near excellent condition, showing intermittent light marks and a little scratching to the head and tang. Maker's mark is clear. Brass shows mild toing. Wood with only a few minor handling marks. Leather cover may not be original. There is staining present on one of the belt loops; otherwise, showing only minor scuffs and scratches.
