Lot 1585 US M1913 PATTON CAVALRY SWORD.
This M1913 Patton cavalry sword measures 43 1/4" overall with a 35 1/2" single fullered blade marked at the ricasso "US I I 25 3416" & "S (flaming bomb) A 1913". Sheet steel guard with crosshatched backstrap and grip. Black iron mounted green painted canvas scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a gray patina but would be improved by cleaning. Guard is a bit misshaped and shows general wear. Scabbard is solid with a few minor dents and a 1" sq loss of canvas. (02-26136/BF). NON-GUN. $500-800.
