^Lot 1485 DANISH 1867/96 ROLLING BLOCK RIFLE.

Cal. 11mm CF. S# 60403. Bbl. 35 1/2". Blade front sight. Ladder rear sight graduated to 2100m. Matching numbers on bbl. & butt. Other visible parts appear unnumbered. Upper tang has Copenhagen Armory marking with 1881 date. Left side of action has "M-1867" marking. Action has a worn case colored appearance. Bbl. appears blued. Walnut stock set with bottom mounted sling swivels & USGI leather sling. Ramrod present. Middle band has flat head screw with nut on left side. CONDITION: stock set has arsenal rework appearance with some light chipping, scattered dings & handling marks. Action is mostly a silver-gray color with scattered traces of case colors, scattered oxidation, light dings & handling marks. Bbl. & bands are mostly gray with scattered traces of bluing, some pitting at wood line, scattered dings, oxidation & edge wear. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good bright bore with some sparse small pits. (01-28848/MJC). ANTIQUE. $600-900.
