^Lot 1398 KOKURA TYPE 38 ARISAKA BOLT ACTION RIFLE.

Cal. 6.5 Jap. S# 90756. Bbl. 31 1/2". Blade front sight. Ladder rear sight graduated to 2400m. Bolt part numbers are indiscernible due to added white paint. Floorplate appears to be a correct but later T38 replacement. Receiver ring has ground mum & T38 markings. Left side of receiver has 25th series & Kokura markings. Varied markings have added white highlight paint. Blued finish. Asian hardwood stock set with bottom mounted sling swivels & strong Kanji markings. Cleaning rod present. CONDITION: stock set has an untouched appearance with scattered light chipping, dings, handling marks, staining & finish loss. Floorplate has a cleaned bright appearance with oxidation & scratches. Balance of metal is turning gray with strong traces of original blue, overall oxidation, some light pitting, handling & edge wear. Action functions properly when hand cycled.
