Cal. 6.5 Jap. S# 63545. Bbl. 19". Blade front sight with protective ears. Ladder rear sight graduated to 2000m. Matching numbers on receiver, bayonet lug, floorplate, bolt handle, extractor & safety. Receiver ring has intact mum with Type 38 markings. Left side of receiver has Nagoya & 4th series markings. Blued finish. Hardwood stock set with two piece butt & left side sling provisions. Cleaning rod present. CONDITION: refinished stock set has a brass screw reinforcement on bottom of wrist, a repair to a notable grain flaw crack above left of trigger guard, a few chips, a couple other repairs, a deep scratch on right side of butt, scattered dings, handling marks, sanding abrasions & scratches. Metal is turning gray with areas of wood finish overrun, strong traces of original blue & some oxidation. Action functions properly when hand cycled.
