GERMAN JAHRBUCHE OF FRONTSOLDATEN.This amazing archive of the Einwohnerwehr was painstakingly put together from years of research. The Einwohnerwehr was an ultra-conservative paramilitary organization that existed in post WWI Germany from 1919-1921. This archive contains numerous publications, pamphlets, and broadsides pertaining to life in post-war Germany, all from the point of view of the Einwohnerwehr. Subjects include weapons use, family protection, mobilization, storage of arms, silent alarms, resident guards and defense, and many more. Many publications deal with civil unrest in Munich and Berlin. The archive also includes 2 membership booklets, 2 organizational armbands, and 4 postcards mostly depicting Einwohnerwehr members. Furthermore this fine lot includes 6 volumes of "Jahrbuch der Deutschen Frontsoldaten und Kriegsopfer" for the years 1935, 1937,1938,1939, 1940, and 1941.
