This intriguing lot includes a large framed print measuring 29" x 42 1/2" titled "BOGEYS! ELEVEN O"CLOCK HIGH" depicting the moment when Yamamoto's plane was sighted by Mitchell's P-38 squadron over Bougainville. There are 9 signatures at the base of the print. A second print measures 26" x 33" and shows a dogfight with the title "BIG HOG Above Bogana". The print has 9 signatures at the base margin. A book titled "GET YAMAMOTO" by Burke Davis is also included, plus large format signed photos featuring Rex Barber, the pilot who got Yamamoto, and John Mitchell, the flight commander, rounds out this fine lot. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: loose-leaf binder with information and copies of photographs from the Yamamoto mission. CONDITION: All items show light wear. (02-26261/BF). NON-GUN. $400-700.
