Lot 1204A GROUP OF US MILITARIA INCLUDING THREE HELMETS AND
VIETNAM ERA AIR FORCE FIELD JACKET. Lot consists of: 1.) Two U.S. Model 1917 steel helmets. Helmets are painted green without insignias. Markings are not legible due to paint. Both having leather liners, one has detached chin-strap which is not present. CONDITION: helmets have wear, staining and areas of flaking paint. Suspensions have wear, flexing, rodent damage. / 2.) U.S. M1 Helmet. The helmet has a rear seam and swivel bales. Chin-strap has ball fastener. Pressed fiber liner painted green on the outside. Liner is without chin-strap. Sweat band is present. CONDITION: helmet has several coats of paint, which is flaking and notable area of white paint streaks on the left front. / 3.) Green field jacket has U.S. Air Force on left front pocket and name tag on right front pocket. Sleeves carry Sergeant E-5 stripes. Coat tag markings include "OG-107 / LONG MEDIUM / measurements". Coat appears in good serviceable condition with only very light wear. / Also included in group is decorative brass wings with central shield and wings that measure 16" across. (02-25418/RW).
