1) WAR PAINT FIGHTER NOSE ART FROM WWII & KOREA by John & Donna Campbell. More than 1000 photos of nose art are included in this publication, with over 120 original autographs signed on individual labels or book plates. Amongst these signatures is Charles Sweeney, the pilot who dropped the A bomb on Nagasaki.
2) US NAVY FIGHTER SQUADRONS IN WORLD WAR II by Barrett Tillman. Over 80 original signatures on individual labels or book plates of Navy pilots from WWII are included on the inside of this publication.
3) THE 8th AIR FORCE YEARBOOK. This 1981 publication contains over 60 signatures of pilots on individual labels or book plates with numerous Doolittle Raiders. Of particular note is the signature of Gabby Gabreski, one of 7 WWII and Korean Aces, and Rex Barber, who shot down Admiral Yamamoto's plane.
4) US NAVAL GUN FACTORY SIGNAL CORP 6x30 MILITARY STEREO BINOCULARS WITH CASE. The interior lid of this case is marked M.A. Riley F2/C / USS Lexington / C.E. NEFF CAL. M. US NAVY. The rear lid strap is also marked with the personalization. CONDITION: good clear optics. There are some handling marks and scuffing on both the glasses and case. Case lid is peeling, and strap is weak. (02-26350/ZAL). NON-GUN. $500-700.
