This uniform tunic belonged to Colonel James D Gilmore, who saw service in WWII occupation forces as well as Korea and Vietnam, and flew a staggering 141 total combat missions. The tunic has eagles on the shoulder straps and Command pilot wings above the 15 award ribbon bar. Awards include, but are not limited to, Silver Star, Legion of Merit, Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and several more. His overseas cap is also present. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: copies of the service logs of Gilmore. CONDITION: uniform shows light wear. (02-26239/BF). NON-GUN. $400-600.
