Cal. 380 ACP. S# 16347B. Bbl. 4 1/4". Model 1917 semi-automatic pistol mfg. by Savage Arms Corp. Top of the slide is marked with Savage's mfg. and patent information, as well as the cal. designation. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall, save for on the trigger and mag. release, which exhibit a case colored finish. Bbl. is polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Savage logo checkered black hard rubber grips. Standard fixed half-moon blade front sight and integral U-notch rear sight. MAGS: x1 reproduction blued steel 9-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some light to mild edge wear, with some light superficial handling marks present overall. Trigger retains good case coloring on sides, with front face of trigger and mag. release having faded to a gray patina. Bright bore, exhibiting very light pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show scattered superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sound. (26-1001/MLW). CURIO. $500-800.
