Cal. 22 Short. S# 126688. Bbl. 28" rd with dovetailed blade front sight mounted in the bbl sight lug. Lyman 53 Winder Musket receiver sight. US Ordnance bomb marking present on the receiver behind the hammer. Standard winder musket stock set. CONDITION: overall fair with some restoration work to the stock. Bbl. has lightly thinning finish with approx 75-80% coverage and some spots of freckled oxidation and light muzzle wear. Receiver has thinning blue with 30-40% coverage remaining and the balance changing to an even brown patina. The stock set has been sanded and refinished with some rounding in the finger groove area and some scattered handling marks including a couple of more prominent scratches.
