RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. S# 3817005. Bbl. 24". Marked behind front sight "RA / flaming bomb / 5-43". Aperture rear sight graduated to 800 yards. Blade front sight with protective cover. Remington marked bolt assembly and cutoff. All stamped furniture including fine checkered buttplate and large bow trigger guard. Walnut stock set. Straight grip stock with two recoil bolts is crisp and legible. "Crossed cannons / RA / FJA" acceptance marks, encircled "P" proof under grip and legible assembly marks in-front of trigger guard. Green web sling. CONDITION: stock has good appearance with scattered small handling marks. Notable dent on right side of butt over butt swivel and small inletted repair at right side at receiver bridge. Metal retains 85% of its original parkerized finish. Very good shiny bore.
