DRAKE & HEN DECOYS. 1) Green-winged Teal drake decoy crafted by Robert Capriola in 1995. Decoy measures approx. 12" in length, featuring gray, brown, white, black, green, and pastel yellow plumage, with a black bill and glass eyes. Underside features an 8" wood keel, with the base marked "3rd/ place/ Traditional Gunning Decoy/ open class/ Northern/ Nationals/ 1995" on the left side of the keel and "Robert Capriola/ 1995" on the right in black marker. 2) Green-winged Teal hen decoy crafted by Robert Capriola in 1995. Decoy measures approx. 12" in length, featuring varying shades of brown plumage, with glass eyes. Underside features a 7 5/16" keel, with the base marked "3rd/ place/ open class/ Traditional/ Gunning Decoy/ Norther/ Nationals/ 1995" on the right side of the keel, with "Robert Capriola/ 1995" marked on the left in black marker. CONDITION: decoys are very good to excellent, retaining virtually all of their original paint, with the hen exhibiting 2 minor cracks on the left side of the body. (02-25980/MLW). NON-GUN. $100-200.
