Cal. 38 S&W. S# T44309. Bbl. 3 1/4". Top break double action revolver mfg. by Iver Johnson. Top of the fluted bbl. rib is marked with Iver Johnson's 2-line mfg. information. Blue finished with case colored trigger and hammer. 2-piece checkered brown synthetic owl's head grips. Half-moon blade front sight with U-notch rear sight on bbl. latch. Matching numbers are present on the frame (beneath left grip panel) and on the underside of the trigger guard. CONDITION: poor, with metal components having largely faded to a gray patina, exhibiting scattered spots and patches of light to mild pitting. Relatively bright bore, exhibiting scattered spots and patches of moderate pitting. Proper manual mechanics. Grips show smoothing and some superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remain sound. (26-1499/MLW). CURIO. $100-150.
