Cal. 22. S# 1592. Bbl. 2 1/8". Round blade front sight. Fixed rear sight. Top strap marked "BLUE JACKET NO.1" with March 1871 patent date. Nickel finish with floral & punch dot engraving. Smooth hardwood grips. CONDITION: grips have a darkened appearance with scattered scratches, dings & handling marks. Metal retains 80% of its current nickel finish with scattered oxidation more heavy under grips, some pitting, flaking & fading. Action not functioning properly with cyl. being loose & will require attention to fix. Pitted bore with worn rifling. (01-29166/MJC). ANTIQUE. $400-600.
