Left side of the bbl. is marked with Winchester's mfg. information, followed by the Winchester trademark logo, as well as the model and cal. designations. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Single band fastened plain wood forearm and straight grip buttstock with flat checkered steel buttplate. Ramped blade front sight with U-notch rear sight. CONDITION: metal components retain large amounts of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning that are fading to brown patina, as well as scattered spots and areas of light surface oxidation. Bright bore, exhibiting scattered spots and patches of light to mild pitting, while retaining strong rifling throughout. Proper manual mechanics.
